The Night She Disappeared by Lisa Jewell

Thanks to MLK day, I got today to myself to finish devouring this book. Lisa Jewell never disappoints! If you love a good quality thriller then I would highly recommend picking up one of hers. The Night She Disappeared is her most recent (Sept. ‘21) and dare I say possibly my favorite (although I was also enthralled with Then She Was Gone and Invisible Girl)! In this book you read of the students and people of a smalltown prep college just outside of London where a young couple vanishes one summer night. Of course as the story unfolds the reader learns that little is as it seems and key characters aren’t either. The turns this novel takes left me gasping and unable to get out of my reading chair until the extremely satisfying conclusion! 😲😊 **As a sidenote Lisa Jewell’s earlier novels are more in the category of human interest or family drama - also VERY good reads! It’s been interesting to witness her books tend towards more mystery/ thriller - So Fun! Do you have a good thriller to recommend?
